Volunteer

We wouldn’t be able to host First Night Boston without the help of dedicated volunteers each year. With flexible shifts and multiple roles, there’s space for everyone to help make First Night 2025 a memory of a lifetime.

We’re looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:
  • Crowd Control
  • Info Table
  • Directional
  • Performer Check‑in
  • Parade Leads
  • Set‑up
  • Tear‑down
  • Event Runner

Most volunteer roles include services from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and are located in the City Hall Plaza area. Volunteers will have a location to check in, store their belongings, and be supported by event staff and event information materials.
